For the 7th time, the Biberg will host the "Biberg Auffiradler", an MTB hill climb for everyone. Parallel to the mountain time trial, the popular mountain run also takes place again on this day.
Starting at the valley station of the Saalfelden summer toboggan run, via the Huggenberg inn up to the Biberg mountain inn, participants will have to put their uphill skills to the test on their bikes or in running mode. Whoever proves to have the most stamina and achieves the best time of the day is awarded the Biberg-Hirsch trophy. Admittedly, the tough 5.5-kilometre course with its 700 metres of elevation gain is a tough nut to crack. But even if the stopwatch is running: The fun of the sport comes first. Well-known names from the biking scene, such as Martin Schider and Hans-Peter Obwaller, have already entered their names in the winners' lists for the "Biberghirschen".
In order to make one of the most intense mountain sports events in the region more accessible to the general public, there will once again be a separate classification for e-bikes in 2019. There will also be a separate classification for professionals and amateurs. The uphill bike and mountain run will both start at 16:00 at the Biberg summer toboggan run car park in Saalfelden. The finish is at the Berggasthof Biberg. Both the bike and run competitions are organised as individual starts.
In addition to the numerous trophies, there are also plenty of prizes to be won in the raffle.
