BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang starts next weekend

Numerous workshops with the stars of the downhill scene, 50 top brands presenting their latest products, a new trail, discounted cable car tickets and an exciting film premiere for a good cause.

The BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang offers a variety of attractions this coming weekend.

This is only possible in Saalfelden Leogang: take to the trails with downhill superstar Brook Macdonald and pick up tips and tricks from the World Cup professional himself - this unique experience and much more awaits at the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang from 15 to 17 September. The well-known festival format, which now makes its fifth stop in Saalfelden Leogang Station after stops at Lake Garda and Willingen, offers again with its Bike Academy the opportunity to go on the trails with some of the stars of the bike scene, get advice and share the passion for the sport. In addition to Brook Macdonald, Elias Schwarzler, Lukas Knopf, Stefan Schlie, Jasper Jauch, Joost Wichman, Moritz Bruggemann, Veronika Sepp and Thomas Klausner are also taking part.

At the big community meeting in the Pinzgau Bike Mecca, over 50 well-known brands will make their equipment available for testing, all trails are open, and on top of that, festival-goers will receive an exclusive discount of 15% on bike tickets to enjoy the surrounding mountains and trails to the fullest.
Another highlight of the festival will be the opening of the "Alteschmiede" trail. This one promises thrills and challenges - even for experienced bikers - and will undoubtedly enrich the riding experience of festival-goers.

As part of the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang will also host a film screening of "Nothing's For Free - The History Of Freeride Mountain Biking" on Friday, September 15 at the AsitzBrau at the mountain station of the Asitzbahn. The event starts at 7:30 p.m. and the approximately 300 seats will be allocated according to the "first come, first serve" principle. Train travel and admission are free, but voluntary donations are requested to benefit the Wings for Life Foundation for Spinal Cord Research.
