Festival feeling at the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series in Saalfelden Leogang

The WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series will also attract athletes from other disciplines to Saalfelden Leogang from 7 to 9 June.

For example, ski star Marco Schwarz will be there to keep his fingers crossed and will be available to sign autographs in the large Expo Area at the stand of Austria's largest bike region Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. Another highlight away from the sporting decisions is the concert by the Glueboys. Much to the delight of Vali Höll, as the two-time overall World Cup winner is also a fan of the popular dialect band from Pinzgau. A spectacular show by the Flying Bulls rounds off the programme.

In addition to impressive UCI World Cup races in the Downhill, Enduro and E-Enduro disciplines, visitors can look forward to a big festival all about biking at the Epic Bikepark Leogang from 7 to 9 June: warm-up events, after-parties, autograph sessions and much more will make the weekend a special experience. For example, the Glueboys concert on Saturday evening (from 7.30 pm): Because Saalfelden Leogang wouldn't also be a concert and cultural stronghold if it didn't manage to invite the popular Pinzgau dialect band to perform their hits such as ‘Baccei Cola’ with free admission. But a top act awaits on Friday evening too with ‘the strangers’. There is a free concert shuttle for all visitors before and after the concerts. Public transport in the province of Salzburg and additional shuttle buses (every 30 minutes) can also be used free of charge during the day with the event ticket.

Look over the shoulders of the stars in the large Expo area with free admission
The lively Team & Expo Area offers the expected 20,000 visitors many additional experiences throughout the weekend. In this area, much of the UCI World Cup action will take place outside of the races with free admission, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the teams up close and look over the shoulders of the pros as they work. Renowned exhibitors will also be presenting the latest and most exciting innovations from the world of mountain biking, from bikes and components to protective equipment and clothing. The popular Signing Session by FOX will also take place again this year with the stars of the scene, including Laurie Greenland, Nina Hoffmann, Steve Peat, Tahnée Seagrave and enduro star Manuel Lettenbichler. Another highlight is the Flying Bulls Show by stunt pilot Dario Costa on the Sunday of the festival.

Austria's largest bike region and the Skicircus present Ski WM 2025
Austria's largest bike region Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and its winter counterpart, the Skicircus, are also represented with their own stand in the Expo Area and draw attention to a highlight of the region with autograph sessions, competitions and much more: the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Saalbach 2025, for which tickets can also be won. Guests include Marco Schwarz, who will be available for autographs and selfies.

New: free, guarded bike car park
The Saalfelden Leogang region and the Epic Bikepark as host of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup are actively working to minimise the ecological footprint of the event. When it comes to environmentally friendly transport at a bike event, one thing is particularly important: the bike itself. That's why this year, for the first time, there will be a guarded (and free) bike car park next to the Hotel Rivus. Visitors can ride their bikes to the event site, park them safely and pick them up again after the races. Saalfelden Leogang also places great importance on the correct separation of waste at designated collection points and the use of reusable cups on the festival site. The consumption of seasonal and regional food also contributes to sustainability. Local products are labelled on site with the green ‘Echt.Gsund.Guad’ seal of quality.

All information at a glance
All of the above information and much more will be available again this year in the official World Series app. Visitors will find all the latest information on the races and results there and will always be guided to the right place using a map.

New this year is the family promotion: when you buy an adult ticket for Saturday or two-day tickets, you get a discount of -50% on a children's ticket (valid until 31 May 2024).

For all those who cannot be there live in Saalfelden Leogang, there is the possibility to follow the final races on various channels: Servus TV, Eurosport, Discovery+ and MAX will broadcast the race decisions live.
