New BIKE Festival in Saalfelden Leogang

In 2018, the mountain bike scene can look forward to three high-calibre BIKE Festivals. In addition to the BIKE Festival Garda Trentino powered by FSA (28 April to 1 May 2018), the big MTB season opener on Lake Garda, and the BIKE Festival in Willingen (19 to 21 May 2018), one of the biggest MTB outdoor events in Germany, the premiere of the BIKE Festival Saalfelden Leogang from 31 August to 2 September 2018 completes the festival series. The hotspot in Salzburger Land, which is popular with mountain bike fans, offers a wide range of opportunities to practise and get to know the sport with one of the largest bike parks in Europe. The organiser of the three BIKE Festivals is Europe's largest cycling publisher Delius Klasing and its leading mountain bike magazine BIKE

The event specialists organise all BIKE Festivals as well as the BIKE and TOUR-Transalp for Delius Klasing.
     
 
Saalfelden Leogang is considered an international centre for biking. Downhillers, freeriders and mountain bikers with or without an electric drive will get their money's worth - countless mountain bike trails of all levels of difficulty, varied valley bike trails and an excellent bike park invite you to enjoy the ultimate bike experience.  Bikepark Leogang is one of the first and largest bike parks in Europe and will be the venue for the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships for the second time in 2020. The UCI Mountain Bike Downhill World Cup also takes place here every year, making the Saalfelden Leogang region and Bikepark Leogang the ideal venue to perfectly fulfil the various festival requirements.  
 
In addition to a large bike expo, where visitors will have the opportunity to test the new 2019 models free of charge for the first time, the festival programme offers numerous top-class side events for young and old over three days. In addition to a challenging MTB marathon, an eMTB challenge, an enduro race, a pump battle and a children's race are also planned.
