11th Saalfelden Ski Marathon

The cross-country skiing event of the year enters its eleventh round!

On 3 and 4 February 2018, numerous professional and amateur cross-country skiers will be competing for victory in the village of Ramseiden for the eleventh time. With around 350 national and international participants, the Saalfelden Ski Marathon is one of the largest cross-country skiing events in Austria and is part of the well-known Austria Loppet race series and partner of the Euro Loppet race series. Three disciplines invite you to test your strength: 42 kilometres, 21 kilometres and the team competition, in which three runners join forces and the average of the three times is used for the ranking. According to the motto "Taking part is everything", anyone who enjoys cross-country skiing can take part. On 4 February at 10.30 a.m., the starting signal will be given for the mass start with a separate start corridor for women. The classic marathon distance of 42 kilometres and the half marathon will be held on the Ramseider, Klingler and Schneggen trails.
Children and schoolchildren will have the opportunity to put their skills to the test in the mini ski marathon on 3 February.
