SAALACHTAL TOUR Touring the Saalachtaler Rundweg between Saalfelden, Maishofen and Maria Alm, intrepid summiteers conquer mountains of the Pinzgauer Grasberge, such as the Sausteige or Hundstein. Alternatively, you can also complete the 3 daily stages closer to the valley itself. The Saalachtaler Rundweg always serves up picturesque scenery: The Zeller See and Ritzensee lie at your feet like glistening diamonds, the snow-covered 3,000ers of the Hohe Tauern are a radiant white, while the mighty rock faces of the Steinernes Meer massif  make an utterly imposing impression.

Take the A8 highway towards Rosenheim, switch to the highway towards Innsbruck, take the Oberaudorf exit. Continue via Niederndorf – Walchsee – Kössen – Waidring –  Fieberbrunn - Leogang, Hütten 39, 5771 Leogang

Toll free alternative route
Take the Siegsdorf exit, drive via Lofer to Saalfelden. Or drive via Rosenheim – Kiefersfelden – exit at Kufstein Süd – continue to St. Johann/Tirol – Fieberbrunn to Leogang and Saalfelden. Further information on how to get to Saalfelden Leogang by car can be found on: www.saalfelden-leogang.at
