This is one of the most environmentally ways of getting to your holiday destination, and without any traffic jams. Getting to Leogang by rail is easy from the mainline stations at Salzburg, Innsbruck, Wörgl, München, Wien or Klagenfurt. In Leogang there are stations at which trains regularly stop (Leogang and Leogang Steinberge).
Tip: From Leogang station to the Steinberg lift is a walk of about 15 min.
You can bring your bike with you on local trains (Cityjet Xpress, Regionalzug, Regionalexpress und S-Bahn) provided there is space available. On long-distance trains (Railjet, Railjet Xpress, Intercity, Eurocity, Schnellzug/D-Zug, ICE and the Nightjet) you need to book a place for your bike.
It’s easy to get to Leogang by public transport thanks to its great transport connections.
The “Loigom-Shuttle” in Leogang is a sensible alternative to using a private car. Around 3500 Leogangers as well as holiday guests and visitors benefit from this new on-demand service provided by Salzburg Transport.

2.) Autobahn A8 towards Rosenheim (D) and Salzburg (A), take the exit Siegsdorf via Lofer and Saalfelden to Leogang, Hütten 39, 5771 Leogang
Take the Siegsdorf exit, then via Lofer to Saalfelden - Leogang or via Rosenheim - Kiefersfelden – Take the Kufstein Süd exit - St. Johann/Tirol - Fieberbrunn to Leogang, Hütten 39, 5771 Leogang
Parking at the Asitz lift P1, P2 & P3 will only be free of charge with a valid and used lift ticket.
P4, P5 and the car parks at the Steinberg lift are still free of charge.
