Eisenbahner Stadtkapelle Saalfelden

On New Year's Eve 1900, 16 instruments were delivered by train and happily received by the first musicians of the Saalfelden Railway Music. Founded in 1901 as the “Musikverein der k.k. österreichischen Staatsbahnen im Rayon Taxenbach-Wörgl”, today's “Eisenbahner-Stadtkapelle Saalfelden” celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2011.
