After numerous collaborations with outstanding artists, such as Vincent Courtois at the Saalfelden 2022 Jazz Festival, Janick Martin now presents his own trio with an unusual and atypical line-up.
A project that feels like a road movie and is characterised by the influences of the most diverse regions he has travelled to. The connections range from the healing tarantellas of Apulia in Italy to the voodoo rites of Benin and the traditional music of Brittany, characterised by Janick's preference for dance, rhythm and trance, for the power and strength of melody.
