Spain 1935: Shortly before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, the young teacher Antoni Benaiges takes over the primary school of a small, remote village in the province of Burgos. The children's parents are highly sceptical about the idea... 75 years later, in 2010, Ariadna, the granddaughter of one of his pupils at the time, researches the moving story of Antoni Benaiges and discovers just how much resistance this charismatic man had to overcome.
