FIS Alpine World Ski Championships Saalbach 2025
Welcome to #skiverrückt
The FIS Alpine World Ski Championships from 4 to 16 February 2025 will be an international celebration of skiing in Saalbach. Together we will ignite exuberant enthusiasm - as we did at the Sun World Championships in 1991 - and create lasting momentum for winter sports in the Salzburger Land.
The concept ‘One mountain - all competitions’ takes centre stage. All races will take place on the Zwölferkogel. The World Championships slopes for all disciplines will lead to one finish area - the Hexenkessel, which offers space for 15,000 enthusiastic fans. The varied supporting programme makes the newly designed Dorfstraße to the epicentre of the World Championships action.
Thanks to the ultra-modern infrastructure of the Skicircus Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn ski fans from all parts of the ski area can reach the races directly and easily on skis. The ski resort is also 100% open during the World Ski Championships.
