In the hope that we will be able to hold our "3 Days of Jazz" festival after all, we had postponed it to March.
Unfortunately, the current Covid19 situation does not allow us to plan with any certainty: the number of infections in Austria is still very high and we see the chance of being able to attend cultural events in March as extremely low.
We don't want to wait any longer before deciding whether or not to hold the event - neither the artists nor the audience - and we as organizers also need a certain degree of planning security, which is simply not available in the next few weeks.
For this reason, it is with a heavy heart that we decide to finally cancel this year's edition of our winter festival.
Nevertheless, we want to spread confidence for the summer and let you know that we are already planning the 41st Jazz Festival Saalfelden in August. More information will follow in spring!
If you have bought tickets for the 3 Days Jazz, you will of course get a 100% refund. Here follows a separate mail from my colleague Monika Seer.
