Experience the mining history of Saalfelden Leogang!

In the middle of the Schwarzleo Valley you can find traces of mining that goes back as far as the 14th century. Well-trained guides can demonstrate a great deal of historical expertise and revive old traditions. The cozy Knappenstube invites you to linger in a rustic ambience after an exciting hike through the medieval gallery.

Guided tours of the mine take place Wednesday through Sunday at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday (partially open in case of bad weather; please always check with the mine)! In case of bad weather, tours are held continuously (every 45–90 minutes). We recommend that you contact the mine in advance by phone or email. With the Saalfelden Leogang Card, you receive a 20% discount on the admission price.

The Leogang show mine and its surroundings are a true adventure kingdom in the Schwarzleo valley for the entire family. A separate children's program, the Pochwerk at the stream and of course the delicious delicacies in the Knappenstube ensure an entertaining and varied day in the footsteps of the miners.
