We have learned a lot in the last two years. We appreciate our nature even more and all the activities we can do in the fresh air. However, our health is at the top of the list. We are aware of our responsibility as a tourist region. We rely on the regulations of the Austrian Federal Government, which provides comprehensive protection for all locals, employees and guests in Austria! Please adhere to these measures and our code of conduct, which are continuously adapted to the current situation.

Also this year our region does its best in order to make your holiday as carefree as possible! Together with the hosts of the region, we have decided that we do not want to stick to the usual cancellation conditions this winter. All information is available directly from the accommodation!

Covid-19 test facilities in Saalfelden Leogang

 

Saalfelden is offering a comprehensive range of tests for locals, employees and guests. PCR tests are available at the Tauernklinikum Zell am See at a preferential price. Free rapid antigen tests are offered in the test streets of the province of Salzburg in cooperation with the Red Cross Salzburg in Saalfelden.

Current measures in Austria

  • There are no more access restrictions. You don't need 3G proof in hotels, restaurants, when skiing, etc.
  • A 3G certificate is only required when entering the country and when visiting hospitals or care homes.
  • The FFP2 mask requirement now only applies in stores of vital trade, in public transport and in hospitals. Wearing FFP2 masks in all enclosed spaces is still recommended.
  • Events can take place.
