Last weekend, on March 22nd and 23rd, the 25th anniversary of Nitro Snowpark Leogang was celebrated.
Saturday began with beautiful sunshine, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Around 150 invited guests enjoyed the event, which featured not only delicious food and refreshing drinks but also the opportunity to test the Nitro boards for the 2025/26 season.
History and Development of Nitro Snowpark Leogang
As part of the celebrations, the history of Nitro Snowpark Leogang was presented, highlighting the close partnership with the Leogang mountain lifts since its founding in 2000. Additionally, there was an impressive photo exhibition documenting the development of the park over the past 25 years.
Award for Years of Dedication
During the anniversary event, Reini Unterberger, the head shaper of the park who has been with it from the beginning, and Markus Luckey from Nitro Germany were honored. Both received a trophy as a token of thanks for their long-standing collaboration and dedication to the success of the snowpark. The award was presented by Kornel Grundner, Managing Director of Leoganger Bergbahnen cable car company.
Party with Live Music in the Valley
In the evening, the celebration continued at B3 in the valley. DJ Philip Preus set the mood before the band 7 Dials Mystery performed at 8:00 PM, thrilling the audience with their music. Guests danced and celebrated late into the night.
Sunday Morning party at the Snowpark
Sunday was marked by a traditional "Frühschoppen" (morning party) at the Snowpark, where guests enjoyed Weisswurst, pretzels, and beer. The event was open to the public, and the lively atmosphere continued throughout the day. Nitro boards were available for testing again, and many guests enjoyed the relaxed vibe and great weather.
