ALM:CULTURE "Tradition meets modernity"

As in the last three years, weekly art and cultural projects will be staged on the beautiful Alpine pastures in Saalfelden Leogang from July to September as part of the Salzburg Alpine Summer.

Under the motto "Tradition meets modernity", a variety of workshops, concerts and even storytelling sessions are on offer. "Die Huatfoahra" - 5 harmonica enthusiasts from Styria - kick things off at the Peter-Wiechenthaler-Hütte. Another highlight is the event with cabaret artist Franz Mario Posch on the Riedlalm - he will waive his fee and donate to the "Lions Club Saalfelden" for a good cause. Children and adults can especially look forward to Helmut Wittmann - he is one of Austria's most famous storytellers.

You are welcome to take part in the ALM:CULTURE series free of charge and without registration. ATTENTION: the events only take place in good weather - there are no alternative dates!

The weekly guided hikes also lead to the ALM:CULTURE events - these hikes are free with the Löwen Alpin Card! Registration for the hikes is possible until the day before at 5.00 pm at Saalfelden Leogang Touristik (Tel: +43 6582 / 70660).
