Andes Alps Himalayas

This weekend offers an intercultural, musical exchange, getting to know foreign cultures, but also lectures by local mountain sports enthusiasts as well as music performances, dance and much more.

Anna Haitzmann, deputy chairwoman of the cultural association FREIRAUM Leogang and organiser, is delighted: "We have succeeded in bringing great musicians from the three mountain regions to Leogang, after this International Festival of Highland Music has already taken place very successfully twice in Lima. Thanks to the great support of the Leogang hotel industry, we will be able to fly in and host the artists from Latin America and Asia on 28 June - they will bring soundscapes from their home countries and international flair to Leogang for a few days, and we will let them experience a bit of Austrian and Salzburg culture with a visit to Salzburg and a day on the Asitz including a TONspur concert. It's sure to be a great weekend - we're looking forward to welcoming lots of visitors!"
