This year's award was presented to Anni Haitzmann on 20 November 2017 at the annual general meeting of the Leogang Tourism Association.
Anni Haitzmann impressed with her great commitment in the cultural sector and the organisation of numerous successful projects in recent years. In 2007, Haitzmann set an important milestone in the cultural history of Leogang - the soundtracks were created together with the Leogang mountain railways. Haitzmann has been organising the popular concerts on the Asitz for 10 years now. Well-known musicians and newcomers have performed in front of the breathtaking backdrop of the Leogang Steinberge mountains and delighted the audience. In addition to the soundtracks in summer, Haitzmann also organises highlights in winter. Together with the Saalfelden Leogang tourism association, she organises the Miners' Advent in the show mine - a very special experience during Advent. Guests arrive here on a romantic carriage ride. Storytellers, brass bands and singers frame the contemplative hours in the mine. Haitzmann is also a member of the FREIRAUM cultural association in Leogang, which is an important part of tourism and makes art and culture tangible.
Anni Haitzmann is delighted: "I would like to thank the committee of the Leogang Tourism Association and Raiffeisen Bank Leogang for the 2017 Tourism Award. I really appreciate the fact that art and culture are so important in Saalfelden Leogang and I am happy to be able to contribute to the region's cultural scene."
The Tourism Award was sponsored by Raiffeisen Bank Leogang.
The prize was presented on 20 November 2017 by the Chairman of the Leogang Tourism Association, Christoph Schmuck, Director of Raiffeisen Bank Leogang, Dir. Johann Riedlsperger and Managing Director of Saalfelden Leogang Touristik, Marco Pointner, MBA.
