"Biberg Auffiradler": the hill climb challenge for everyone

On 30 June, the uphillers will once again call the shots in the Saalfelden Leogang bike region - that's when strong calves are required on the Biberg.

Saalfelden's local mountain will host the "Biberg Auffiradler", a hill climb for everyone, for the 6th time.  The popular mountain run also takes place on the same day as the mountain time trial.

Anyone who wants to take on a challenge in the midst of breathtaking mountain scenery is in the right place in Saalfelden Leogang on 30 June: The 6th Biberg Auffiradler awaits.

Starting at the valley station of the Saalfelden summer toboggan run, participants will pedal from the Huggenberg inn up to the Biberg mountain inn. Whoever has the longest breath and the strongest calves at the end gets to lift the Biberg-Hirsch trophy. Admittedly, the tough 5.5-kilometre course with its 700 metres of elevation gain is a tough nut to crack. But even if the stopwatch is running: The fun of the sport comes first. That's why even slightly less ambitious mountain bikers have the opportunity to become part of the 6th Biberg Auffiradler in the separate e-bike individual classification. In addition, the different competition classes and the popular raffle with its valuable prizes will once again guarantee many beaming winners' faces.

This year, the Biberg-Auffiradler differs from other hillclimbs in the country in one new way: for the first time, mountain runners and cyclists will start the race individually. Runners and cyclists will take turns to start the course in 30-second intervals. The first start will be at 4.00 pm.

Registration is still possible until 29 June www.pinzgau-trophy.at - late registration is possible up to 30 minutes before the start.
