Christoph Schmuck is the new chairman of TVB Leogang

Paul Mitterer has been an enthusiastic chairman of TVB Leogang since 7 July 2009. The personal highlight and biggest challenge for the Managing Director of Sport Mitterer was the UCI MTB World Championships in 2012.
Other highlights of his time in office were the start of the SALE brand development process in 2012, the record result of 800,000 overnight stays in 2013 and much more.

 

Paul Mitterer comments: "Winning the bid for the World Championships in 2012 was a key experience. With the UCI MTB World Championships and the World Cups, Saalfelden Leogang has become one of the leading mountain bike destinations in the world. I would like to thank everyone involved for the excellent cooperation over the last few years and wish Christoph Schmuck every success for the future."

 

Christoph Schmuck has been running the Hotel Forsthofgut in Leogang since he was 22 years old. For Christoph Schmuck, being a hotelier is a vocation, a passion and a joy. He has also been Chairman of TVB Leogang since 30 November 2015. Christoph Schmuck is delighted: "I will be following in great footsteps, Paul Mitterer has always led TVB Leogang with vision and expertise. I am looking forward to the new, exciting task as chairman and to the good cooperation with the committee and the managing director Marco Pointner."
