On Saturday, March 8, 2025, classical music enthusiasts can look forward to a truly special concert experience at the Mining & Gothic Museum Leogang. Four outstanding musicians from the Vienna Volksoper will present a program titled "Mozart to Strauß – A Musical Rendezvous", featuring works by Mozart, Bizet, Schubert, and J. Strauß. The audience can expect a top-class evening with pieces from opera, operetta, and classical music.
The renowned Mozart Ensemble of the Vienna Volksoper, founded in 1996, gained recognition through the first recordings of J.J. Wendt’s arrangements for flute and string trio of Mozart’s operas. In addition to Mozart, the ensemble is dedicated to classical and romantic Viennese chamber music and delights audiences worldwide with its performances.
The concert begins at 7:30 PM and is organized by the FREIRAUM Leogang cultural association in cooperation with the Mining & Gothic Museum Leogang.
