Full steam ahead uphill!

On July 8th, Saalfelden Leogang will once again be looking for the fastest Biberg "Auffiradler" and mountain runner. The fifth edition takes mountain bikers and mountain runners over 5.5 kilometers and 700 vertical meters up Saalfelden's local mountain.

The Biberg Auffiradler starts at 4.00 pm, directly after the Biberg mountain run (mass start at 3.00 pm) at the valley station of the Saalfelden summer toboggan run. The route to the Biberg mountain inn, where the finish line is located, is a crisp 700 meters in altitude. Those who find this too strenuous by pure muscle power can also use the support of a standard e-bike and take part in the separate e-bike individual classification. Once at the finish line, not only the coveted Biberg-Hirsch trophy awaits the winner, but also a raffle with attractive prizes for all participants. In addition to the various youth, women's, men's, e-bike and mountain run categories, this year there will also be the Biberg Gaudiradler at 2.00 pm.

The Gaudiradler - half the distance, twice the fun

A race "just for fun", as the organizers Simon Hutter and Werner Schmidt call it. The race starts at 2.00 p.m. at the valley station of the summer toboggan run and "cycling" is only possible as far as Gasthof Huggenberg - without any timekeeping. This means that everyone can be part of the Auffiradler without having to race against the stopwatch. The ranking is based on the order of arrival.
