With its gentle grassy mountains and rocky shapes of the Leoganger Steinberge and the Steinernes Meer, Saalfelden Leogang is a predestined ski touring region - and the perfect backdrop for the Ladies Ski Touring Camp by and with Gela Allmann from 25 to 27 January 2019.
Now that the Saalfelden Leogang region is once again covered in deep winter white, many people are becoming passionate about a real trend sport: ski touring. But in order to be able to move safely and without danger in the great outdoors, you need some basic knowledge.
In a camp specially designed for women, from 25 to 27 January, mountain sports expert Gela Allmann will be addressing all female ski tourers who want to work on their uphill and downhill skiing technique, learn the basics of snow and avalanche awareness and plan their own tours.
The special thing about it: Gela Allmann shows how motivation can remain high even in difficult situations, how fears can be dealt with sensitively and how one's own limits can be pushed - not only on the mountain, but above all in everyday life. And the 34-year-old German knows what she is talking about. After a serious mountain accident, the all-round talent, who is also a book author, presenter and model in addition to her vocation as a mountain sportswoman, fought her way back into life step by step.
The programme includes a "super motivational fun weekend"
The Ladies Ski Touring Camp in Saalfelden Leogang is not only intended to motivate and inspire, but also and above all to be fun: "It will be a 'super motivational fun weekend' with great ski tours," promises Allmann.
