‘Mini ski marathon for ALL’ presents itself crisply in 2023

News from the 14th Saalfelden Ski Marathon

Unfortunately, due to the snow conditions, the 42 km, 21 km, 10.5 km skating and 14 km classic races cannot be held as planned. However, the Mini-Skimarathon on 4 February is expanding its programme and will become a racing spectacle for all age groups at Lake Ritzensee under the name ‘Mini-Skimarathon for ALL’.

Even if no marathon king can be crowned in Saalfelden this winter - there will definitely be racing action on the narrow slats this coming weekend. The ‘Mini Ski Marathon for ALL’ on 4 February extends the eligibility to all classes and thus offers cross-country skiing enthusiasts of all ages the opportunity to be part of the competitive action at the Saalfelden 2023 Ski Marathon.

District Cup in the Nordic Park at Lake Ritzensee

The race, which is organised as the Sport Grossegger District Cup, is run using the skating technique. The length of the course depends on the age group, with distances ranging from 2 km to 10 km. Before the individual start at 10 a.m., however, the little ones have their big performance. This year there will also be a dwarf class for the very youngest, who will start at 9.30 am in the mass start over 300 metres. The start and finish area is in the Nordic Park at Ritzensee Saalfelden.
