On 12 February, this somewhat different event for young and old will bring the far north and its lifestyle to the fore with a mixture of extensive sports activities, typical cuisine and a suitable supporting programme.
Whether with a cup of hot ‘Glögg’ in a deckchair, with a biathlon rifle on the shooting mat, or dancing on the ice with skates under your feet: anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the lifestyle of the far north should make a stop in Saalfelden Leogang on 12 February. For the fifth time, a ‘hyggelig’ get-together in Nordic style will take place as part of the ‘Nordic Park Experience’. From 12 noon to 4 pm, there will be plenty on offer for children and adults, locals and guests at the Ritzensee in Saalfelden.
Wide range of sports for young and old
At the Kids Winter Games, all young visitors have the opportunity to try their hand at winter golf, curling, biathlon and more at various game stations. The Nordic puzzle rally takes you around Lake Ritzensee on cross-country skis with tricky questions. If you don't want to skate as far, you can shake your hips to the sound of the DJ at the ice disco - so don't forget your skates!
