Saalfelden Leogang presents "Cool personalities"

Irene Bernatzky from Saalfelden is a versatile painter who combines figure and abstraction in various materials in her paintings. Until October, reproductions of her very special cow paintings will line the hiking trail between the mountain station and the middle station on 14 large-format panels.

Whether she paints people or cows, she stages them. The expressiveness of her protagonists always results in a field of tension of relationship constellations.

The subtly luminous colors of her cow paintings and her play with language make the viewer smile. On May 28 at 11.00 a.m., you can join the painter on the art trail. The trail leads from the mountain station on the Asitz down towards the Stöcklalm. The artist explains her thoughts on the paintings along the way. Once you arrive at the Stöcklalm, a small farmers' market and a tasty tasting of local produce from the local farmers' association in Leogang await visitors.

Martina Riedlsperger, chairwoman of the FREIRAUM cultural association, is already looking forward to the fantastic exhibition on the art trail: "Irene Bernatzky's Kuhlen personalities and animals from our homeland are placed at the center of attention here in a special way. I think they fit in very well with nature and allow a different, often previously unknown view of these animals."
