In less than two weeks time, the 6th Theatre Summer will take place in the Saalfelden Leogang region.
From 29 July to 14 August 2022, workshops for children and adults and plays will be held in different indoor and outdoor locations.
In the Saalfelden Leogang region, the theme of theatre is important. This year, the theater summer began with "Thinderella" on June 8. A play by Benjamin Blaikner about a girl suffering from anorexia. This year the Theatre Ecce will once again enrich the region with a children’s and youth workshop “Palace of Wonders III” and two plays, e.g. "The Smile at the Foot of the Ladder" by Henry Miller.
The play “Smile at the foot of the ladder” is the story of Clown August, who is not enough to make people cry and laugh. A poetic fable of an obsessed man in search of himself. The piece guarantees drama, acrobatics and live music under the dome of the circus tent in Leogang. "Der Drachenberg" returns to the circus tent. The family piece based on the Chinese folk tale by Natalya Nishegorodtseva and Svetlana Alfiorova is a highlight for the whole family (from 5 years). This year there will also be a workshop week “Palace of Wunder III” in Saalfelden, Lofer and Maishofen. The participants expect a diverse offer from the fields of acting, music, acrobatics, dance and land art. The workshops are mainly aimed at children between 6 and 12 years old.
