Today, the Saalfelden International Jazz Festival enters its 39th round. Wonderful concerts for every taste and a great atmosphere await concertgoers. The entire region is in jazz fever and has been transformed into one big stage: Once again this year, the shops decorated their shop windows lovingly and with great commitment. 15 of them entered the "Jazz Festival Shop Window Competition" and gave free rein to their creativity. The jury (representatives of Saalfelden's town marketing and tourism association) crowned the winner on Wednesday, 22 August 2018.
The winner of this year's shop window competition was Patricia Schwaighofer. The flower shop impressed the jury with pictures, musical instruments and self-created sound creatures made from coconut fibres.
Second place went to the team from Mi.Ka Rinascimento, who impressed the judges with their creative handicrafts, pictures and clothing.
Stanonik Markenschuhe took third place with a mixture of musical instruments, flags and photos.
