New puzzle hunt with Leo
An already popular and well-known family hiking trail from the Asitz or Steinberg mountain station is Leo's game trail. Here you will not only find various play stations to make the next stage of the hike more enjoyable for the little hikers, but also a very special puzzle game. This will be completely redesigned in the summer of 2025! All children can look forward to new questions, a special solution word and a fun instant prize. And that's not all: at the end of the season, a competition will be organised together with the offers of Leo's friends Kodok, Timok and Montelino on Austria's coolest family mountains in Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn. All families who register will have the chance to win something.
Leos sound toboggan run gets a new look
The well-known and popular sound toboggan run at the top station of the Asitz lift is getting a whole new look! Leo the lion will be your faithful companion, taking you on a whole new journey of sound. At the end of the musical ride, you can take home a souvenir in the form of photos of you on your speedy ride!
Have you ever taken a forest bath?
Forest bathing, or Shinrin Yoku, is a nature-based method that originated in Japan in the 1980s. The aim is to relax in and with nature, to slow down and temporarily disconnect from everyday stress. Through exercises, you literally immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the forest. Take the Steinberg cable car up to 1,762 metres and enjoy the incomparable mountain panorama. The 8.2-kilometre-long "Waldbad am Asitz" (Forest bathing on the Asitz) hiking trail leads down into the valley, with 14 stations that blend into the forest, inviting you to linger, meditate and relax. Viewpoints, resting places, natural swings, a yoga area, a treetop bed and even a waterfall will help you recharge your batteries.
