Natural swimming area lake Ritzensee
The lake Ritzensee is situated in the midst of the beautiful landscape of Saalfelden. Here, everyone can find their favourite spot to recharge their batteries. Soak up the atmosphere of the lake, the meadows, forests and the impressive mountains.
Highlighting Saalfeldens history in several thematic exhibitions, the museum includes artisan Xandi Schläffer's Christmas manger collection;
ecclesiastical and folk art treasures; Roman murals and Gottfried Salzman's artwork.

The flat 18-hole championship course (White men 6.079 m, par 72) blends harmoniously into the landscape of the Pinzgau Saalach valley.
The game is made highly varied due to the 18 absolutely flat fairways, river widenings & dams that are built into the course despite the
alpine backdrop. Also dogs are welcome at the course!
The Urslautal Golf Course is located
on a mountain plateau between Saalfelden
and Maria Alm. To play a round of golf in this

The hermitage of Saalfelden, which is the last occupied hermitage in Europe is located in Saalfelden since the 17th century. Locals and guests alike visit the hermitage regularly because of the beautiful hike that leads you there, the breathtaking view over Saalfelden, the inspiring conversations with the hermit and the special energy, which can be experienced up there.
Concentrated winter sport expertise away from the slopes now has a name: the Nordic Park Saalfelden opened in early 2017 and provides pure winter fun. It features a whole host of options, including many kilometres of cross-country skiing trails for cross-country skiers and biathletes, beautiful winter hiking trails, a popular Fun and Snow Park for children, and culinary highlights and events..
The 1.6 km summer toboggan run is one of the longest runs and an absolute must for kids and adults as well!

After the ascent with a shuttle taxi
and a walk of approx. 45 minutes
you can enjoy a high-speed toboggan
run back to the valley.
