A bike hotel should convey pure feelings. An important aspect for us, is an offer with bike rental and competent bike guides from the bike schools. A bike hotel should be a meeting point for bikers of every kind - a place where you can screw, where you can talk about bikes and where a constant discussion could take place. Best with a beer after ride.

Bikers can look forward to our own bike rental with a large selection of bikes, enduro, freeride bikes, E-MTB fully, children fully, race bikes and a lot more. Moreover, they can look forward to competent advice, a bike bar, a lockable and video-monitored bike cellar, a bike wash area, bike workshops, laundry service and much more. And above all, we are located directly in front of the EPIC Bikepark Leogang, where a cozy and relaxing sun terrace is waiting.

3. WHICH BIKING TRAIL IN SAALFELDEN LEOGANG IS YOUR FAVOURITE?

We don't have a favorite, because there are just too many great trails right on our doorstep. But some of them are: Flying Gangster, LE 10 | Matzalm Trail Tour, LE 06 | Panorama Tour, Steinberg Line by FOX and Hangman I + II.

he most essential point is a perfect bike infrastructure, this includes a well equipped bike garage, a bike wash and a safe storage of the bikes. Currently, we are investing in a huge bike cellar, which is accessable at ground level by an elevator. Moreover, a bike hotel should be a good starting point for diverse biking tours. The hotel team should be able to advice the guests and know about the different tours. Furthermore, a good cooperation with the bike schools and regular bike camps are crucial aspects as well. 

2. WHAT CAN BIKERS ESPECIALLY LOOK FORWARD TO AT YOUR HOTEL?

Bikers can look forward to a perfect bike infrastructure of course, but also to a big wellness area with Adults only SPA. After an action-packed day full of biking, they can look forward to a heated outdoor pool, massages, saunas and indoor swimming pool. Furthermore, an alpine cuisine with regional and homemade dishes is waiting for them and many other bikers and gourmets. From the 16th until the 20th of October, the bikecamp with bike professional Leo Hollinger is taking place again at our hotel.

For those, who prefer relaxing tours, we recommend the LE 06 | Panorama Tour which leads you from Leogang to Saalfelden and back via Gerling and the lake Ritzensee.

1. WHAT IS A BIKE HOTEL ALL ABOUT?

he region Saalfelden Leogang is part of Austria's biggest biking region and the natural resort PURADIES is located in the middle of it. It is only three minutes away from the Epic Bikepark Leogang and some trails end directly in front of the hotel. Also the ones who prefer relaxed biking tours are here at the right place, as you can start your tour directly in front of the hotel and discover the region on two wheels. Coming back from your excusion, you have the possibility to wash your bike and then you can put it in the monitored bike garage and you can have a massage or a refreshing drink at the sun terrace of the hotel 

2. WHAT CAN BIKERS ESPECIALLY LOOK FORWARD TO AT YOUR HOTEL?

Our guests can look forward to an in-house e-bike rental of the brand Haibike, a washing area on our hotel grounds, a lockable bike cellar and absolute biking pleasure. And as a partner hotel of the Epic Bikepark Leogang, our guests receive -15% on tickets for the cable car. 

3. WHICH BIKING TRAIL IN SAALFELDEN LEOGANG IS YOUR FAVOURITE?

Our favourite tour, which we like to recommend to our guests is the LE 15 | Knappentrail-Tour. You can start directy at the hotel PURADIES in the direction of the valley station of the Asitzbahn cable car, then via Hütten to the valley Schwarzleotal. Turn left and ascent until you reach the hotel Forsthofalm. For the more daring, the entrance to the medium-difficult Knappentrail is directly above and leads back into the valley Schwarzleotal. Pure fun for all flow and Northshore lovers. For those who like it quieter, enjoy a small refreshment at the Forsthofalm and take the same route back to the PURADIES.

1. WHAT IS A BIKE HOTEL ALL ABOUT?

A bike hotel is not only located in the middle of a bike region with a lot of diverse and different tours - starting from a short e-bike pleasure tour to the action-packed downhill adventure - but a bike hotel also needs to have a passionate biker in the hotel! In our case, this is the Ritzenhof boss Hannes. 

2. WHAT CAN BIKERS ESPECIALLY LOOK FORWARD TO AT YOUR HOTEL?

We offer our guests individually prepared tour tips and are always available for advice. If the ordered bike isn't available in time, we also offer rental e-mountain bikes. And after a bike tour there is nothing better than swimming in the lake Ritzensee and listening to the reeds rustling on the lawn by the lake. Thanks to the new Lakeside Bar, your favorite drink now comes directly to your lounger!

Our favorite is the LE 06 | Panorama Tour with its incomparable view of the massif Steinernes Meer.

1. WHAT IS A BIKE HOTEL ALL ABOUT?

A bike hotel should really be designed for bikers and their equipment and offer a wash area and a secure storage room for the bikes, preferably with the possibility to make small repairs to the bikes. Furthermore, it is very beneficial if a laundry service is offered, as it gets really dirty on the trails and tours on wet days. In addition, every biker is happy when they get personal helpful tips for tour planning and great tour recommendations. 

2. WHAT CAN BIKERS ESPECIALLY LOOK FORWARD TO AT YOUR HOTEL?

We have a very diverse activity program. Varied tours with our hotel's own MTB guide are included. Beforehand, you can warm up for the upcoming tour with warm up yoga and then relax your tired muscles with fascia training. In addition to the free laundry service for bikers, from the 2022 summer season there will be a brand new SPORT BASE, where every room has its own locker for drying and hanging up bike gear. When it comes to culinary highlights, the bikers will surely not be disappointed and will be able to replenish their energy stores with delicacies from the region. Another highlight are definitely our two wellness areas, where you can perfectly relax and regenerate after an exhausting bike tour. Especially the panorama spa with infinity sky pool, which was newly opened last summer, is simply the optimal place for this. Because there are certainly not many places where you can do your laps in the pool and at the same time have a perfect view of the Bikepark Leogang. Our entire offer is perfectly adapted to the needs of athletes. There are for example, special biker massages on offer, where exactly the "problem zones" - back and legs - are treated after a long bike tour. In addition, we offer directly in the hotel a rental of mountain bikes and e-bikes of the brand Mondraker.

As a pleasure tour, the LE 04 | Grießner Almen - round with magnificent panoramic views and idyllic scenery is high on our list of favorites. For the action-seeking and ambitious bikers, it is the LE 10 | Matzalm Trail Tour that makes the hearts beat faster. Be it due to the technical challenge or the endorphins released.
